The Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team is the third official team watch created by IWC Schaffhausen especially for its long-standing partner. The 40 mm case is made of lightweight and extremely rigid grade 5 titanium. Offering the best strength-to-density ratio of any metal, titanium is also used in automotive engineering to produce highly stressed parts such as engine valves. After machining and sandblasting, the surface retains a beautiful greyish sheen. The team’s signature green on the numerals and indices contrasts with the black dial. The hour, minute and second hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® in the same green shade. At the heart of the case beats the IWC-manufactured calibre 32111, an automatic movement that offers a power reserve of 120 hours. Water-resistant to 10 bar, this watch is equipped with a Petronas green rubber strap, featuring the EasX-CHANGE® system.
