Alongside the traditional Breguet hands that adorn the off-center dial and indicate the hours and minutes, there is another hand that stands out for its astonishing architecture. Curved in the vertical plane, it has multiple levels allowing it to fly over the components of the movement until it reaches the sector located between 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Its retrograde function allows it to return to 1, once it reaches the end of the month. It was none other than A.-L. Breguet who was one of the first to develop the retrograde date, which he would grace some of his famous creations with.
