Based on the Frecce Tricolori watch, developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famous Italian air patrol, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and brought the mechanical chronograph back to its rightful place. Indeed, the brand built its worldwide reputation on these absolutely sublime watches. Available in a variety of materials including stainless steel, 18-karat red gold and titanium, the Chronomat features a 42 mm case and an instantly recognizable bezel with four rider tabs at the 15-minute markers. Available with a variety of colored dials, the Chronomat is paired with the signature Rouleaux bracelet in metal or rubber. True to the original, the Chronomat is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.
