During complex aerial manoeuvres with supersonic aircraft such as the F/A-18, pilots are exposed to particularly high G-forces. Similarly, during long missions aboard aircraft carriers, the humid and salty sea air puts a strain on both people and materials. Developed exclusively for elite US Navy pilots, the TOP GUN Chronograph features robust, corrosion-resistant materials such as ceramic and titanium. For the first time, this classic model is equipped with a 69000 series manufacture movement. In addition to its stopwatch function, the IWC manufacture calibre 69380 also displays the day and date. The red small seconds hand at 6 o'clock adds a striking touch of colour to the black dial. This model features a titanium case back and a case made of anti-reflective black ceramic with zirconium oxide. The watch comes on a black textile strap.
