An open, well-arranged dial with its traditional minute scale and small seconds counter at 6 o'clock: the IWC reference 325 set the standard for Portugieser design in the late 1930s, which would continue throughout the history of the collection. Today, this timelessly modern design returns in a new automatic model with a compact 40 mm case. The Portugieser Automatic 40 is powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 82200. This high-quality, robust automatic movement features a Pellaton winding system made of virtually wear-resistant ceramic components, giving it a power reserve of 60 hours. This model has a stainless steel case with a silver-coloured dial featuring blue hands and appliqués. It is fitted with a blue alligator strap, which is particularly comfortable thanks to its brand new butterfly buckle.
