In 2005, OMEGA launched its Planet Ocean line, with its maritime heritage in mind. Today, these elegant watches continue to pay tribute to OMEGA's dive watch heritage. This 43.5 mm stainless steel model features a white ceramic dial with applied orange Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o'clock. The unidirectional orange ceramic bezel is stamped with a diving scale coated with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. The watch also stands out for its screw-down caseback with a honeycomb design and its integrated stainless steel bracelet closed by a patented expandable folding clasp, with an additional extension for diving. It is water-resistant to 600 metres (60 bar) and is equipped with a helium escape valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900 that powers it is visible through the transparent caseback. It has been awarded METAS certification after successfully completing eight tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
