The exploits and adventures of the Apollo 8 astronauts inspired the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon in full black ceramic. Now, it is the ever-changing shadow of the moon that has inspired the creation of the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black”. This 44.25mm all-ceramic, all-black model has a polished and satin-finished case, a matte dial and a matching clasp on a black-coated nylon strap. It is nicknamed “Black Black” because of its blackened applied indexes and its blackened and satin-finished Moonwatch hands, all dressed in black Super-LumiNova. The traditional counters at 3 and 9 o’clock are also matte black, and the ceramic bezel is accompanied by a black lacquered tachymeter scale. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9300.
